The card lives with the rifle.

In the Antlr armory, the card is saved with the gun and the load, so it’s there when you pick up the gun. Range a spot on the map from your stand and it reads the hold for that distance off the same card.

What it assumes

Every number it used, printed on the card.

What does the wind column assume?

A 10 mph wind blowing straight across the shot, what shooters call full value. A wind at an angle moves the bullet less.

What do temperature and altitude change?

Warmer or thinner air slows a bullet less, so it drops and drifts less. Standard is 59°F at sea level, which is what published drop charts are worked out at. The shot is treated as level, with no uphill or downhill angle.

Why is the arrow card gravity only?

Air slows an arrow only a few percent inside 60 yards. The card says so: real drop is a touch more at the long end. Your sight tape from the range is the final word.

Is it the same as the app?

Yes. It’s the armory’s own calculator, and it’s checked against the app’s tests, so the same numbers give the same card.
